It’s nice to see the new maps on their own and in a variety of different game types (to be honest I had a great time playing a bunch of different game types that I don’t usually play). But I am kind of getting sick of the whole Mosh Pit thing and apparently I’m not alone.
In response to a whole host of gamers saying that they wanted to have the new maps playable on all game type play lists (Ground War, Team Deathmatch, etc.) Infinity Ward has decided to expand the new maps to all playlists tomorrow (March 31st), as well as enable double XP for all playlists.

Behold! The power of feedback. We’ll be integrating the new maps into all playlists as well as enabling Double XP for all playlists tomorrow.

The playlists are now updated. The new maps will now be playable in every game type and double XP has also been enabled in all playlists. Here’s the tweet:

1st off, thank you for posting this bit of news. I’ve been looking online for an answer to this question since this morning. So far, this is the only mention I’ve seen
And secondly, I’m glad they’ve come to their senses. I was starting to REALLY regret buying this download (since I primarily play death matches) Looks like this won’t be a complete waste of money after all

So as of today you’ll be able to play the new maps in all of the game types like free for all and team deathmatch?
yeah no problem guys, I try to stay on top of things.
I haven’t physically gone and seen if they’ve implemented this yet (I’m at work), but as of last night the plan was to have the new maps playable on all playlists today. [UPDATE] It seems that they should be integrated “later today” according to an Infinity Ward rep… Once it’s offical I’ll make a post.

yup it’s official now all playlists should rotate through with the new maps included AND with double XP.
bout time? they figure at the connection issue? i haven’t had any problems but i know alot of others are.
yeah I’m not sure about connection issues. I think that’s more of a regional problem. I’ve had no problems here (Vancouver,BC,Canada)
